I got this game as part of a multi-game cartridge and, as a horse enthusiast, it was one of the first games I played. I have previously played several horse games for the PC in the past, but now I am "grown up" (technically) haven't played any in a while, and the improvement in graphics in this type of game is noticeable. The DS also makes control a lot easier.
OVERVIEW
While the name mentions the Whitakers, the game doesn't actually mention the famous showjumping family. I'm not sure if the box mentions them, as like I said it was on a multi-game cart. For me this was a plus because I'm not really a huge fan anyway, and games endorsed by one person like that tend to have them as the mentor telling the player what to do, and I find it a little cheesy and irritating.
The object of the game is very familiar - take care of a horse ...

Having owned a wii since christmas 2007 i now think that it is time that i can give a balanced review.
on christmas day it was the best thing in the world and having had a look at something i will never be able to get to again on the dashboard i realised i had played on it for 11 hours on christmas day alone; and i guess it was a similar time on boxing day.
its more a fun console than a hardcore gaming console and i think that it is better for younger people, possibly because i never seem to have the time to play on it any more. perhaps if i was to get my wii online, i would use it more, as many of my friends have it online. if you are planning on getting a wii then dont get me wrong it is fun to play on, but as i dont have it online yet, i cant really say if it is going to be great for the rest of your life

The Nintendo Wii is the next generation of gaming! It comes with the Wii itself, Wii Sports, 1 Wiimote and 1 Nanchuk. The features are AMAZING! It comes with the Disc Channel, the Mii Channel, the Photo Channel, the Wii Shop Channel, the Forecast Channel and the News Channel. It works with Wi-Fi and you can download old classics like NES Mario to games you can only download from the Wii Shop Channel! There is a big range of games to get for the Wii and some come with a steering wheel, a Wiimote loads of other equipment for the Wii! Throw out your Gamecube but keep the controlers and games because you can play your Gamecube games on the Wii and use your Gamecube controlers! If you don't have any Gamecube games but don't have enough cash for Wii games then maybe that is for you! THE WII IS HIGHLY RECCOMENDED TO ALL GAMERS AND NON ...
