Advantages: USB port Disadvantages: Remote is a little small
I was looking for a DVD player that i could use a USB mem stick with as i have a lot of avi. files on my computer, after a search i found the Toshiba SD-290.
It is a neat compact unit but still stylish at the same time.
Setup could not be easier just plug in the power and scart and done. The remote is a bit small and therefore there is a habit of hitting the wrong button by accident.
DVD playback is excellent on all formats and it does not take ages to identify the format you have loaded.
The key for me though is the USB port, just plug in your USB memory stick and watch your files, photos or videos on the screen.
I have been looking for a long time for a DVD player that allows the playback of avi. files as simply as through a mem stick and the SD-290 is the one. ...
Advantages: Easy to set up, good quality picture and text output. Disadvantages: Could have better written manual
Around the beginning of April, I switched on my old and trusted Epson 880 and went to print out a page, nothing happened. After he showed me some of the photographic results, I was sold and I got to admit, I am very pleased with my purchase.
On getting the printer home, I found it ...

Epson PM290 The best photo printer I have ever owned
I am not going to go into all the jargon of what the machine can do, that you can read any where. What I will tell you is my experience in using the machine.
Let me start by explaining, I have owned a few bulky printers in the past, that you are meant to be able to print photos on. All top names including an Epson SX600FW which I still have. All of which I used through printing directly from my laptop or bluetooth. They all seamed to drink the ink like mad, even the ones with single coloured cartridges. The photo's never seamed to be as good as when you pay for your photos to be developed.
But then I read about Epsons PictureMate printers. Orginally I was going to buy the 280 model, which had very good reviews across the internet, but thought I would pay extra and get ...
