I bought this as my old machine finally gave up the ghost & it's probably the best thing I've done in ages. I have problems buying clothes to fit, because I'm rubbish at dieting and therefore making my own is the best option.
The first thing I made was a chiffon top which I would never have attempted on my old machine and it sewed it perfectly. I particularly liked the seam and overlock in one step stitch. The only problem that I have had with it is that it does not like cheap thread, however buying "proper" thread rather than the stuff off the market is not really that much of a hardship.
I have generally found it extremely easy to use and very much like the locking stitch button.
