The 1000 Series of touchmonitors are designed to provide a single-source selection of entry-level LCD monitors, aimed at the fast-changing consumer retail/POS and hospitality/POS markets. The products in the 1000 Series are not branded Entuitive ("designed for touch"); while offered at a lower price-point, they still provide reliable, durable operation and come from the worldwide leader in touchmonitors, Elo TouchSystems. The 1524L features Elo's AccuTouch five-wire resistive touch technology.

...Electric Light Orchestra were one of THE bands of the 1970s. Formed by Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne from the ashes of The Move, they fused the sounds of the rock band with elements of the classics. Things did not go according to plan, at least in Wood?s mind and after two albums he went his own way (with Wizard and others). This left Lynne to explore and develop this orchestral rock fusion to its peak.
At the time of this album ELO were in their fully established line up of Jeff Lynne (Lead guitar and vocals), Kelly Groucutt (Bass and vocals), Richard Tandy (Keyboards), Bev Bevan (Drums), Mik Kaminski (violin), Hugh McDowell (cello), Melvyn Gale (cello). I had the great fortune of seeing them at Newcastle City Hall during their UK tour in the late 1970s.

...Well I thought I would start the new year on a happy note by reviewing a lively old album by a lively(ish) old group - The Electric Light Orchestra (or, as their friends and fans know them, ELO).
Was it a Christmas present? No folks, I actually went out and bought this myself. Make of that what you will! It was a mere case of, I had a version of their Greatest Hits on vinyl (or an LP to those of us who remember them), but I decided I ought to listen to these guys on a piece of modern equipment - namely a CD!

Advantages: Simple to use Disadvantages: Cant think of any!
...First impressions of the Canon EOS 1000D were great. Looks and features of a top of the range camera, and incredibly easy to use. There are a variety of different settings, ranging from fully auto, to manual mode where your creative side is let free. I am a novice photogtapher, and i find the 1000D incredibly easy to use. Set the camera on full auto and it becomes a point and click camera like and digi cam on the market, except the picture quality is alot better. There is even an option to use the large LCD screen as a preview screen like on digi cams. Personally i dont use the camera in this way, im teaching myself how to use manual modes, which isnt as hard as it seems as the layout of the camera is easy to use, and easy to get used to. Overall, this is a perfect camera for beginners, and amateurs, but still holds its own as a camera...
