...This little laptop has proven itself to be an outstanding solution to my business needs. As the founder, owner, producer and webmaster of avocadoazzurro.com, I needed a computer immediately after the crash of my previous desktop computer. This light and powerfull Acer Aspire was the complete solution to all of my needs.
After two months, Day-to-Day operations on my little buddy include: video transcoding (2-3 hours per day), video editing (one hour per day), web design (1-2 hours) and the rest can be considered general use.
I bought this computer for about 1000 euro in Italy as a general consumer, but it's worth way more to myself as a business user.
I was hung up about buying a portable system before I bought this little gem, but never again. This is a fantastic system worthy of industry award....

...Bought this for my wife to use and am currently using it to write this review. The laptop is excellent value, the screen is clear and bright, all the useful buttons are close to hand (top right of the Keyboard) such as internet and power manager.
The DVD drive is fast and supports dual layer (ready for when the price becomes realistic anyway!) There are 3 USB sockets - 1 at the front and 2 at the right hand side. Speaker, microphone sockets etc are handily placed at the front... saves rooting around or turning the unit over to connect them!
The supplied software tools Acer Arcade, eManager etc are intuitive and easy to use and surprisingly useful.
The only drawback I can say is that pesky Wireless on/off button at the front - under normal circumstances I don't have a problem, but occasionally catch it (big gut!) and switch it off...
