The first thing to note is that this P.C. is a well-balanced system. While not boasting many “bells and whistles”, the neat and compact WebRider packs a punch for your pounds, retailing at around the £805 mark.
The specifications of this machine are terrific for the price. It boasts a very fast AMD Duron 700 Mhz processor, along with 128Mb of Ram and a large 20.4Gb hard drive. A 2D graphics package owes much of its performance to the above-mentioned Athlon processor, which speeds up games and everyday programmes, as well as having the DVD playback feature.
About the only drawback is the lack of software, other than the graphic card’s video-capture and DVD playback utilities.
The whole package is exceptional value for money, and Elonex also throw in a one year on-site warranty.
