Advantages: Cheap and easy to use Disadvantages: Battery operated - so loses its power if not changed

This was the first and only epilator I got. For those of you who have never used one before...it will hurt. Its cheaper than other epliators which usually cost between Ģ40-50, but they are electric. Although painful at first, you will get used to it and it is soooo much better than shaving as the hair regrowth takes longer (it usually first appears 2-3 weeks after use - but depends upon you hair growth).

It works fast (if the batteries are new) so all you have to do it hold it at a 90 degree angle to your skin, and roll it around in a circular motion. Dont press too hard otherwise the hair will bend and the epilator will miss the hairs. It has a simple on and off switch, and is generally easy to use. Unlike other epilators, this is small and compact so it is easier to hold, especially if youre going to use it in tight, small, awkward places. I like the fact that its small and battery operated so that I can take it almost anywhere with me. A normal AA battery lasts quite a long time, and even though the motor slows down after some use, it still manages to pluck the hair.
It plucks hair that is usually over 2mm in length, so if you initally have short hair, it may not create a smooth finish. A definate buy if you just want to try it out becuase its cheap yet good quality. I've had mine for about 2 years and still works. It comes with a 1 year gaurantee, and also a brush to remove hair from the motor.
