Advantages: Great fun, always makes me smile Disadvantages: PG rating though
This has always been one of my favourite comedy series. It's perfectly cast and the timing is just superb. From Trigger (Roger Lloyd Pack) calling Rodney "Dave" and not getting any jokes, a bit like Alice on the Vicar Of Dibley to Del Boy Calling Rodney a "Plonker" and Boycie's silly laugh. If you've seen them once, you can watch each and every episode again almost until you memorise the comedy. Who will forget Del Boy, out on the town and feeling cocky trying to impress some girls only to find the barman swings back the part of the bar in order to get out that Del Boy was leaning on and Del Boy leans back, this time falling over, drink in hand! Or the Batman and Robin sketch, turning up to that party, and then the chandeliers. Very funny and will always be so. This was a Christmas present and I have never stopped watching these ...

This is a must-have album for any Neil Young fans as it is part of the infamous Doom Trilogy that also includes Time Fades Away and On The Beach. THE best comedy series ever created is my honest opinion. There are very few actual laugh out loud comedy programmes however all seven series of this fabulous box set are incredibly funny. The family consists of Delboy (the ultimate cockney geezer), his brother Rodney (the ultimate dipstick), and either grandad in earlier series or uncle Albert in later series, and of course their friends including Trigger and Boycie. As far as british comedy goes, I would go as far as saying this is unbeatable, from the moment you begin watching you will fall in love with the loveable rogues and follow their journey through the years as they try absolutely every scam in the book to make a fast buck. You could also watch these episodes over and over again which suggests how good this is. The box set is a must have for any fan out there. ...
