Do not shop with Empire Direct !!! I ordered an iron, it was not delivered on the day it was supoosed to be delivered. The delivery address was changed, as I could not take another day off work, and then it arrived at the original address because Empire Direct had not actually informed the delivery company. It was rescheduled with Empire Direct - still not delivered as I phoned the delivery company and Empire Direct had not redirected it at all - ... ...I had made 5 phone calls and they said if I wanted reimbursement I would have to get my phone bills, highlight the calls and submit the bills !!! I was then offered vouchers...like I would ever shop there again. Dreadful. Do not shop here. They might be cheap, but their Customer Service is APPALLING. ...

Ordered Panasonic TV which was shown on site as being in stock.
Received confirmation email saying delivery would be 2-3 days after payment taken.
There is no order tracking on-line.
Had to phone 0845 number when I did not get confirmation of payment taken.
Of course, no delivery arrived and in fact I heard nothing at all from them
I hate 0845 numbers!

When I phoned them, usual hanging around waiting to be transferred to different people
Eventually, they told me no stock, promised "7 to 10 days"
Pretty poor service in this day and age... And a marked contrast to my experiences with them in the past - which were good on 3 occasions.

I purchased a goodmans freesat box from this site.It was a very good price ,so i posted the offer price on an online forum about half a hour after i purchased the item.I gave a prefered delivery date,new years eve.I rang a few days later to check the delivery date.i got passed from one customer services rep to another.They said they would call back,no one called back.I also sent them emails.i thought they were a reputatble company as i went to them ...

Advantages: cheap - but it's not an advantage! Disadvantages: you dont actually receive the product !!!!!
NEVER EVER buy anything from these guys! We had to wait over a month for our Fridge Freezer and were constantly told it'd be with us next week... er sorry.. next week ... er sorry meant to say next week. They put ALL the fault on the manufacturer. They treat the customer like an idiot (not rude, just fill you with a load of codswallop). I'm not surprised in the least by reading some of the comments on this review site .. we just experienced exactly ... ...it's not worth the headache! Pay the little extra and go to Dixons/Comet etc and get the product within a week. I dare to think if our Fridge went faulty and we had to ring Empire to sort it out. Doesn't bare thinking about!
In a sentence : we cannot believe they horrendous experience we have had with this company - dear oh dear!!! ...
