I totally disagree with the previous reviewer re Tern Consultancy. I have worked for them for over a year and yes, the pay isn't bad, although I would hardly call £12 brilliant, as it doesn't just cover the visit, but also the time spent getting there, and the extremely tedious process of writing it up on their awful database - more of that later. I am currently doing work experience at Smiths and am enjoying it. The staff are friendly and easy to get on with. The manager is just as nice. Most of the customers are nice but you get a few bad ones but I just smile and bare it.
