disappointed!!!

So I became an Avon representative in June, and I can say that it has been an utter disappointment. Firstly you have to pay a £15 set up fee which I accepted but if I’m honest I don’t really know what I got given back for this money. Secondly I was shocked to find out that I had to pay for my brochures there around £5 for 20, which I suppose doesn’t seem to bad until you get your list of streets I was given 4 streets which mounted up to over 200 ...
...will never be doing this again, you earn next to nothing have no training or support from your area rep. I am disgusted with the way Avon runs its business, basically your earning the money for them whilst they sit and have a good laugh at you. What a joke. ...

If you are really desperate.....

Advantages: Folk in certain departments are fantastic
Disadvantages: Management are incompetent and the whole system sucks!

Argos- Folding Tidy Rail.875/2329

Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: It is not easy to assemble and the instructions are inadaquate

...self assembly item supplied by Argos come with limited instructions that can not be understood and there is no point of contact for assistance. Their customer services staff try to be helpful, but are unable to assist, because all the items are packed abroad and there are no supplier details. Surely customeres deserve more support when purchasing products that dont do what they say on the tin. I purchased ,the folding tidy rail; item 875/2329 today ...

Disadvantages: Managers Menacing, Never Pay on Time, De-motivating On a whole

I have been working for Boots for about seven months now. What motivated me to work there was the high starting pay for a teenager (£6.52/hr). I work there on Saturdays and also on Tuesday nights. My colleagues are all friendly and easy to work with and the managers try to give the impression that they are motivating you, but that is not the case. Every move is scrutinised and the slightest slip up ends in you being belittled in front of your colleagues. ...
