Second to none airline!
Review of British Airways by
Mrpate
Advantages: Great service in a crisis
Disadvantages: nothing at all
...AIRLINE!!!
I've been flying with british airways now for about 4 years. In that time i've had nothing but second to none service, the staff are so nice and helpful. For some reason the media (especially BBC news) hate britih airways, if something happens within the airline industry the media are there right outside of BA's offices!!!
But they have great lounges, great wines and champagnes on offer and all in all great service.
They once lost my ... ...was not the fault of BA, it was the handling agents at manchester airport) but they couldn't do enough for me, every couple of hours they called me to tell me where my bag was and when i'll have it, which i thought was excellent customer service, they even paid for me to buy new clothes ($700 worth) gave me $600 and 20,000 airmiles for the inconveince they didn't cause me!!! ...

accuread or not
Review of Accuread by
limmey
Advantages: they don't bother me any more
Disadvantages: they don't seem too bothered - Am I bothered?
The agents acting for accuread are allocated quotas and have to attend a set number of properties. Like most people they tend to work a normal 9-5 with some call backs a little later if you are lucky. The level of customer service tends to vary from each individual agent. My experience is that they are quite impatient. They tend to knock on the door and literally start to fill in cards saying they have attended as they wait.
I also find it strange ... ...though I have a pre-payment card. I wonder if they don't believe me or if they are checking to see whether I'm fiddling the supply?
Generally, they are no less efficient then when British gas came around they are just less patient. This is more a reflection of changes in society, they are not particularly well paid and both the falling standards in literacy and numeracy brought on by the over reliance on simple technology doesn't help. Added to ...

My experience NOT GOOD
Review of Avon representative by
sarahd1111
Advantages: I like the items
Disadvantages: Felt bullied and angry.
...I wanted to be a Avon rep. She told me all the benefits and what I could be earning if I stuck to it and that I could do it in my own time which I thought was great as I had college.
I signed up and couldn't wait to get started. I had to pay £7 for the first 2 months for a admin fee which was a bit cheeky but didn't mind.
I got a load of books free and all the forms and my own area to deliver the books and a book for me to write the numbers of ... ...campaigns people didn't really want Avon and was a waste of my time going out in the cold when I wasn't garntened a book back or an order even though i went there every night to try and just get the book .
I then had some problems with my returns so I told the person in charge of me and they explained so I returned them online and did what it said and waited for the delivery man to sign my book.
It never happened then I received letters so I sent ...

Avon could give you more
Review of Avon representative by
blondgem
Advantages: discounted cosmetics
Disadvantages: your spend more than you earn
...that i had to post avon catalogues through, initially you are given your first two sets of catalogues free and order forms etc.... i had four streets that i had to do and i posted all my catalogues and advised i would collect them two days later.
The commission at Avon is 25% of your sales which isn't a great deal when initially you have to pay admin fee's to join for the first couple of months and also pay for you catalogues which are not cheap ... ...can commit to it a little more than what i could but for extra cash... no there has got to be something better out there.
Perks of the job, you meet new people and get discounted cosmetics buts thats it and i don't really use Avon to be honest. ...

Good Money if you work hard enough
Review of Ann Summers Party Organiser by
blondgem
Advantages: Meet new people, have fun, earn money
Disadvantages: bad parties, rowdy drunken females
I've been an Ann Summers Party Organiser one and off for three and a half years now. I took a year out an started back in May this year. Doing Ann Summers has its advantages and also its disadvantages, I work full time during the day as Sales and MArketing Manager therefore I don't have to rely on the parties to obtain more money.. its just a bonus when i do them.
Initially you don't have to make an initial outlay to join Ann Summers which is good, ... ...People think working for Ann Summer is easy but you have gotta accept that really you are a franchise and its not going to come easily... you need to canvass and advertise in order to create more awareness and obtain more business as you do with any business.. so any student thinking they can make a lot of money for just standing up throwing undies everywhere for a couple of hours its not that easy.. you have gotta work at it.
Commission is 30% ...
