There is a branch of Endsleigh Insurance on the university campus where I work, and I have allways found the staff friendly and happy to help, allthough there service is not as good as thier friendliness. After taking out insurance it took them 3 months to send the certificate, then later when the insurance was cancelled they did not seem in much of a hurry to return the money owed. Three weeks after cancelling the policy the head office was unaware that it had been cancelled when they were phoned.
On another occasion they were looking into specalist insurance and told me that it would be the next day before they got any quotes as they would have to phone with details of the car. This was acceptable so I returned the next day, and was told it would be another day, and the same the next day. It took them 8 days to get the quote. Ok so the quote was for a modified car, but even so 8 days was long. Each day they said to return the next day and if I had not been working where they were I think afer 2 days I would have told them to forget it. In the end they did get some quotes and they were very high.
So if you have a modified car, do not bother with Endsleigh Insurance.
They might be friendly but unfortunaty they are not as efficient as one would hope.
