Having moved into a new (rented) flat, I needed to organise my contents insurance. So, I duly went online and got a number of instant quotes, all of which seemed fairly reasonable. Undecided about which to take up, I thought I'd mull it over for a while.
However, on arriving home I received a phonecall the very same evening from Endsleigh, following up my enquiry - this impressed me straight away (particularly as none of the other companies have ever contacted me).
The lady at the other end of the phone explained who she was, went through all the details I had provided on line to clarify them, asked a few more questions, then gave me details of the three best policies. She was extremely helpful and within 5 minutes cover was arranged.
It was far more comprehensive than I needed, but for only a less than £10 a month I wasn't complaining!
All the relevant documentation arrived in the post within a couple of days and I've had no complaints so far!
When I moved house, I rang up the company and they transferred my cover within 5 minutes. All it took was a few questions and there was no penalty or transfer fee, which some insurers charge in this situation.
About 6 months after moving in, the washing machine in the flat above went mental and flooded all of the top floor, followed by us underneath!
Endsleigh settled our claim hassle free within a week, so new furniture and carpets were duly purchased!
I would definitely recommend giving Endsleigh Home Contents insurance your consideration for excellent service and great premiums.

Nice op - I just got a quote off these for my room in a shared ouse. As we are renting its much much cheaper insuring our stuff seperately and these were the cheapest for me by a long way. £60 for my room wheras the cheapest quote we had for a four bed house was over £500

A good op, but a little too brief for me to give you a vh, I'm sorry. It did cover the essentials though.
Advantages: low low cost insurance, very professional, close proximity to university, extensive policies Disadvantages: none i have experienced to date
