Advantages: Cheaper than Duracell, good make. Disadvantages: Not quite as strong as Duracell, but come very close.

In conclusion I would reccommend Energizer Batteries their packaging is good and made of strong cardboard with protective plastic. Not as good as Duracell packaging, but then they are less pricey. They are a good strong, durable battery.
...today I will be reviewing Energizer AA 2500 mAh Rechargeable Batteries.
Price
You can buy these from Amazon for cheapest £7.05 I got them for £10 from B&Q and I got a charger as well.
Life
I recommend fully charging these for first time use. I put them on for a day. From the full charge I managed to get a week use out of them. I use them in my Xbox 360 Controllers which are used by me and my brothers so they were on for most of the week.
Charge
... ...around 6 hours to charge fully (Overnight).
Size
I find that these batteries are a little larger than the usual AA batteries because in my Xbox controller when I first got them in they took quite a lot of force to get them out again. After using them for quite a lot it seems to have stretched the battery pack so it’s fine now.
I believe that these batteries are good for the price and if you buy the charger you get 4 for free included with it. ...

Advantages: you can get them really cheap Disadvantages: didn't last very long
I saw an offer for energizer batteries in the local supermarket - £1.99 for an 8 pack of AA batteries. First thought bargain! You shouldn't go wrong with a well known brand at that price should you? I grabbed a couple of packs and toddled off to pay them, and then added them to my stockpile of batteries, cos there's nothing as annoying as having no batteries when your remote ones run out!
I don't use batteries for very much, normally just my camera, ... ...buy more batteries because the energizer ones (yes all 8) had died on me. (Yes it really was only about 2 hours, give or take a few minutes, and my players only a few months old)
To test my theory about how good the batteries were, I took my rechargeable ones for my player on the journey back to the family home, which lasts 6 hours; sometimes more. To my suprise, 6 hours there, and 2 hours coming back the rechargeable one's finally died! So I stuck ...

Advantages: Relatively cheap Disadvantages: no power testers on these unlike Duracell
...Robert Dyas and purchased 12 Energizer Ultra Plus batteries, on special offer, this was before Christmas. I've used other brands of batteries before notably everready, duracell and various shops own brands and rate duracell the best out of all of them. This was the first time I was going to put energizer batteries into my appliances, in particular my digital camera which eats batteries.
So far the batteries have performed extremely well, the digital ... ...the same energizer ultra batteries and the portable CD player has'nt quite managed to devour all their power yet. Compared to other brands they have lasted far better, though Duracell do last well too.

Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: Takes a long time to charge batteries
I had been intending to purchase a battery charger for quite a while. In fact I had even dropped hints to certain family members around Christmas time, but to no avail. I was recently reminded of this missing piece of equipment in my life when I rediscovered the PC lead to my digital camera. Remembering that a pair of standard batteries lasted for only about 30 photos in this camera I decided that it was certainly time to invest in a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries.
I purchased an Energizer CHDCW8 ? 4 battery charger from Argos for just £9.99. This decision was based on several factors, the most important of which was the price and what I considered to be the best value for money. The design also played a part in my decision process, but in the end it was the price/value that were the strongest influencing factors ...

Advantages: Good for low power items Disadvantages: Don't last as long as Duracell
I rarely buy Energizerbatteries; although they are cheaper than Duracell they don't last as long. I put four AA Energizers into my digital camera and took 100 pictures and then downloaded them. I then did the same with Duracells and found that the Energizers were almost dead but the Duracells were only about half depleted. Duracells can be recharged, somewhat, in an appropriate charger (packaging says they can't); Energisers can?t.
On Ebay a 4-pack of AA Energizer E2 cost £4.69, but Duracell Plus cost £4.99 but for 30p less money you'll get 40-50% less usage.
Recommendation: Use Energizerbatteries only in things like clocks and remote control units, but buy Duracells for things like digital cameras and CD players.
