Advantages: Huge storage capacity, very cheap Disadvantages: Some games won't restore their saved game
Now, you may see these for sales on various websites and be wondering whether they are really Sony made. Well, as far as I can tell, they are. They certainly have all of the trappings of a genuine item, Sony logo, MagicGate, proper serial numbers and model numbers.
My PS2 spotted it no problem when I went into the Browser and reported it as a 32mbcard, so I thought 'Happy Days!'. Played on my game, saved it, everything great. It even appeared to save as quickly as any other card I have used too (Sony PS2, Max, Sony PS1)
The price is fantastic too. I got mine for under half the price of an 8mbcard and it came in from Hong Kong! So, instead of having to remember which card you have that saved game on, simply whack this huge beastie in and you have 4x the storage capacity.
Now, the slightly bad news:
1. Certain games will not ...
Advantages: Very Relaible Disadvantages: Drops out if your ADSL has a low SNR ratio
signal to noise ratio would drop down to negative numbers when i was getting drop offs, so i used a few methods to improve this in my property by making a few chages to my internal phone wires (dont try this at home unless you know what your doing)
The result was an increase in my signal to noise ratio of over 3db.
This improved things more but still the occational drop, so i called BT and informed them of all my work, after getting passed to various people i got an engineer to talk to, they offered to increase the gain on my line to maximum, after that was done all has been fine. I now have my pc, laptop and my xbox running through this router flawlessly and fully secured.
hope this helps any potential buyers, basicly this unit is great but needs a firmwareupgrade and good ADSL Line to run on.
** Update Note **
I am now using ...

My friend had given us some of the phonic books from the ELC and some of them interested him. He didnt want to read them but was looking at the pictures. I began to wonder if the pictures we actually distracting him and making him think that he didnt need to read. So on a trip into town I popped into the ELC and could not believe the range of reading materials that they stock.
I found this set of flashcards and thought for £3.50 it would be worth a shot.
Well I have to say they have been an absolute hit, not only with my 5 year old but with my 4 year old to.
There are 70 cards in total and they have a very good range of starter words and there are also some blank cards. We ...
