honest opinion from someone who has been there!

Advantages: Small learning groups, ongoing support, guest lecturers
Disadvantages: theory can be very demanding, travel is extensive if not based at Nottingham, hours

...a really lovely introduction into midwifery as a whole. You may even be lucky enough to witness a home birth, although I never got chance to do this until the second year. In all placements you will be assigned a mentor, someone that you shadow and you are never expected to do anything that you feel uncomfortable with. Review of Midwifery

Great research facilities and staff members

Advantages: Excellent research facilities, resources, staff and international recognition
Disadvantages: The course is intensive and requires commitment and dedication
