Pickups, Mahogany Neck, Maple/Birch Body, Natural Finish. A classic, immortal guitar as used by John Lennon, now one of the most widely recognised and most popular electric guitars in the history of rock and roll. The Epiphone John Lennon Revolution Casino electric guitar is a reproduction of the guitar John purchased with a sunburst finish and stock hardware. In 1968, John had his Casino sanded down to bare wood and finished with a thin, dull coat of lacquer. He first used his natural Casino in The White Album sessions of '68. The Epiphone John Lennon Revolution Casino is a reproduction of this stripped guitar as it remains today, featuring one coat of lacquer, gold Grover tuners and the pickguard removed. Rock, jazz and blues are the best applications for the Epiphone John Lennon Revolution Casino. A limited number of these individually hand-numbered, historic instruments have been produced. Own a piece of rock history that is bound to appreciate in value. Works damn well with distortion too and the sounds is perfect. The kind of sound you get with distortion is kind of like Oasis, Suede-ish type of sound. The range of colours is excellent too ! You won't regret it. I'm having a Metallic Blue one with the vibrato tailpiece, 2 humbuckers. Nice shape, excellent sound. If you're looking for a good guitar, the price is quite moderated, and this is available at your area, get it.
Advantages: wonderful tone Disadvantages: none I can see
...an Epiphone Casino and Epiphone do sell special John Lennon Casinos but for the extra hundreds of pounds you are still basically getting the same guitar so I would suggest you steer clear of that option.
I always dreamed of owning a dream guitar - and now I do. ...

Advantages: cheap, good sound, nice colour, very good construction Disadvantages: wimpy tuners
FIRST OF ALL:
I recently bought a Casino, the new Casino Bigsby. I own four other guitars, a Rickenbacker 360/12v64, a Gibson j160e, a Gretsch Country classic 1962 II and a US fender stratocaster. Still the Casino is one of the best guitars I have ever played. I play in a Beatles tribute band, I play the role of Harrison, and of course the Casino was a must. So when I spotted the Casino Bigsby, I was in Love right away and lucky enough for me this ... ...real must-have for every Beatle maniac ;o)
ABOUT THE CASINO:
Almost everything about this guitar is pure joy, the playing action, the construction, the sound. The only thing about this guitar I donīt like is the fake Kluson-style tuners. These should have been swabbed into something better before it left the factory. THE SOUND:
The sound in this guitar is perfect. It has the treble of a vintage ES335 and the playability of a Stratocaster. All ...
