Advantages collection model
Disadvantages high price
Let me tell you something about John Lennon 1965 Casino and Revolution Casino. The "1965" is an exact replica of John Lennon's first Epiphone Casino right down to the vintage sunburst finish and 3-ply pickguard. In 1968, Lennon took that guitar and had the factory finish stripped off and a thin coat of dull varnish applied for a better sound. The pickguard was removed but the original mounting hardware remained, all faithfully recreated here in the "Revolution". Both guitars feature a bound laminated maple body, 24.75" scale, set mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and parallelogram mother-of-pearl inlays, two Gibson USA nickel P-90 humbuckers, trapeze tailpiece, and gold-plated Grover tuners. Only 1,965 of each model were produced. Hand-numbered, with signature vintage case and shroud. What else can i say? Excellent guitar for true collectors and Lennon's fans.

Let me sit on the fence with this one, strum a tune of four, and then we'll see...
