The special two is a slightly limited guitar but that's not to say that it's entirely useless. It delivers crunchy, low end sounds perfectly well and so is the perfect guitar for someone interested in producing grungy, muddy music. It is also a relatively cheap guitar that works well for the beginner guitarist and I would recommend this over the more commonly chosen Squire range. However if you're looking for a guitar that will be appropriate for producing shimmering, bright sounds especially in the professional or live capacity I would not go for this. I have also used this guitar in conjunction with Logic for recording songs but it is really only of any use for getting songs down for future use and does not deliver a finished product.
