Advantages: Totally wonderful rich deep sound Disadvantages: Makes your friends envious

I had owned a Stratocaster for 10 years by the time the Sheraton came along. Both had their advantages, but when it came to playing for the fun of it, the Sheraton won hands down each ... ...one gig I took the Epiphone out of the car and placed it (in its case) beside the car, ready to take out the Stratocaster. A Post Office transit van drew up and stopped, seeing me unload the car. I shut the car door and was about to pick up the Epiphone to move it clear when the van started to drive. I watched in horror as my guitar case fell over in the wind just before the van drove directly over it. The case was ruined, but the guitar was unscathed. ... more

It was perfectly complimented by a Fender Twin Reverb amp - that lovely warm valve sound brought the richness of the Epiphone's humbucker pickups to life.
It's a tough animal as well... On the way to one gig I took the Epiphone out of the car and placed it (in its case) beside the car, ready to take out the Stratocaster. It was just an ordinary black vinyl covered thin plywood case. But boy was I glad of it.
It was with great sadness that I came to selling the guitar a number of years later. I wish I hadn't. I sold it for 50% more than I bought it for!! But then again, it helped to pay for a new computer, which in turn led me on a path towards finding my lovely wife.
Maybe, just maybe, one day I'll own one of these again...
Advantages: It looks and sounds great Disadvantages: Hard to put down once pick up
I loved the look of the Sheraton when I first saw it. It has a vintage look and the gold pickups and the pearl on the fret board just looks superb. Mine is a vintage sunburst and the colour is lovley and rich. I wasnt dissappointed when I played it and I just had to buy. Its got a lovely warm clear sound to it, and a lot of sustain. It feels real nice to play, and because the action on this guitar is lower then on my other guitars I find it a lot ... ...had a go on my Sheraton, he was so impressed I have now got him wanting one. The only bad points that I can think of are the tone controls on the guitar dont seem to make a lot of difference when I change them and the guitar is quite heavy. However I am very happy with this guitar and if I had to buy one all over again I would still come back to the Sheraton. ...

Advantages: GREAT SOUND, LOW ACTION, GOOD NECK Disadvantages: THE PICKUPS ALTHOUGH GOOD, WOULD NEED CHANGING
I BOUGHT THE LEFT HANDED VERSION OF THIS GUITAR RECENTLY, AND I WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE TO ADJUST THE ACTION ON THE GUITAR, BUT THE ACTION WAS SPOT ON. THE NECK WAS EXCELLENT TO PLAY ON AND OVERALL THERE WERE NO ISSUES WITH TUNING OR THE FRETS ON THE GUITAR, OVERALL THE BUILD WAS VERY GOOD
THE SOUND WAS VERY VERY GOOD, BETTER THAN I EXPECTED FROM THE ONBOARD PICKUPS. HOWEVER, I AM STILL GOING TO REPLACE THEM WITH GIBSON CLASSIC PICKUPS, THIS WILL ...
