...Purchased this printer for our new business. We use MS Office suite notably Publisher. Conflict between the prionter driver and publisher prevents pub. docs. opening as they should. After long talks over 3 weeks with Dell (purchased the PC and MS Office from them) and Epson nothing was resolved. Have to say Dell were excellent but Epson support was rubbish. Now have widely available software which won't work as it should. Would have thought printer driver would be compatable with application available in most offices. Downloaded latest driver but no change, besides the obvious i.e buy another printer, any suggestions anybody?
PS this is our second printer the first one was faulty on installation........not impressed so far Epson. Anybody want to buy cheap?!!...

Advantages: Print quality very good Disadvantages: Expensive consumables
...A very good laser printer overall. Easy to install software on your Applemac, and manual is quite straight forward. The quality of the print outs are high, however, beware to check for a good supplier beforehand for consumables as they can get quite pricey and vary dramatically between suppliers. Its a large but compact A4 printer, noise level is very low indeed. I would recommend this to buy if you are going to use it at work as its not really a home printer unless you have masses of things to print out every day. Consumables are extremely easy to install when needed. Make sure when purchasing to ask the supplier whether or not you will need the PostScript model or just the ordinary C2000 model as you will have difficulty printing out documents later on....

Advantages: Reliable and good print quality Disadvantages: very noisy and rubish at doing lables
...Last year my farther felt the need to get rid of our old inkjet and replace it with the AcuLaser C900 which to me seemed like a good idea as we tend to print quite a lot. however several months down the line I'm not 100% convinced it was the right decision.
Good points:
Does good quality colour and B/W prints.
Prints large documents much faster than your standard ink jet.
Easy to set up via USB.
Bad points:
Very noisy especially when you turn it on and start printing.
Slow to start printing so would be no good for the odd couple of pages.
Consumables are very expensive.
As you might expect the are very large printers.
I would recommend this printer to you if you were either a small business or if you printed a lot of longish documents. I would definitely say no if you are a low...
