...Epson printers are excellent value for money. I have an Ecpson Stylus Colour 600 and the print quality is really good. If you bought a similar printer for the same price as an epson printer, then the epson printer will be by far the better of the two. Epson printers have many features and a very good status manager. There are also many different types of media available for printing on. Altogether, a very good buy. I have had my Epson 600 for about 3 years now and it is still performing to it's maximum capability. It has a max resolution of 1400 x 1400 which is very good....

Advantages: exelent results especially for photo Disadvantages: big and bulky for desk top
...I have had my Epson 830u for over a year now and have not had any problems with it.
The epson cartrages that came with it (origional epson in) didnt last too long but I think this is due to them only supplying a sample cartridge. I have never bought origonal epson cartridges which has made my printing much more cheeper.
The quality of your print depends upon the quality of ink, paper and settings u chose but even with cheeper quality photo paper (tesco's own and compatable carts I have had some wonderful prints.
Using the printer is very easy and the first instalation went very smoothly.
This printer has been recomended to my freinds and family by me and I would highly recomend you buy one or one from the Epson range....
