Advantages: Build quality, excellent photos, sheet feed, CD printing Disadvantages: Slow speed on highest setting, ink expensive, included instructions poor.
...I find the 900 very easy to use, it prints all of my digital camera pictures to a very high standard, but slowly on highest settings.
Text and images are aslo to a high standard.
It uses 2 ink cartridges, 1 black and 1 five colour, colour cartridge, approx £12 & £20 respectivly.
Great savings can be made using 3rd party suppliers of ink.
It can be connected via USB or LPT1.
The operating menu is clear and easy to use, but the supplied paper instructions leave a lot to the imagination !
Top photos require best quality photo paper, I've tried cheaper media and found the results poor.
The printer is capabable of printing directly onto the surface of CD's via a supplied adapter which loads into the rear of the machine.
Also supplied is an adapter to enable paper to be fed into it on a roll.
There are no digital camera storage card reader...

...print jobs.
The crowning glory, though, is the fact that the printer has built in to it a card-reader slot for your camera's CompactFlash card! The PCMCIA adapter to use this, and plug it straight into the printer, comes with the kit. I understand that an additional version for SmartMedia will set you back in the region fo £42. Excellent supporting software is supplied, and so the card-reader acts like a new drive of your PC, automatically load onto screen thumbnails of your shots, etc. Brilliant!
For a serious digital camera owner, it's the way to go!...

Having read other's reviews, I noted how different some were, which was interesting as when one buys a beauty product and finds it the best ever, it's a little puzzling to discover other's don't rate it so well!
Of course, beauty products,... more
I’ve just been scanning some favourite photos so I can include them in a digital photo frame for my dad and I thought I’d share some details about this nifty scanner.
