...I bought my Epson Stylus Color 900 printer at Staples last year because I wanted a printer that was known for reliability and quality. I already knew I would be doing a lot of color printing of photographs and greeting cards! This printer features resolutions up to 1440 by 720 dpi, even on plain paper; smallest ink droplets are available for finest detail and smooth gradations (3 picoliters); four color printing for photo quality and sharp black text on any paper quality.
The printer was very easy to hook up and get the software installed, so no troubles there. I had an HP inkjet before this one that was nearly silent when turning on and off... so it was a surprise how loud this printer is. Not that I'm complaining! The quality of the output completely out-classes my old HP printer!
Replacement costs for the cartridges run between $27...

If you look at this Epson printer in scale with the other similar printers in the Epson line with the same capabilities this is the lowest level of the group that includes the Epson Stylus Pro 5000, the Epson Stylus Pro 5500, Epson Stylus Pro blah blah blah, etc ending in the amazing Epson Stylus Pro 10000.
These printers will not fit in your house or your budget unless of course spending $3500.00 to $9500.00 is not a big deal to you and you have space in the garage.
