The EMP-7900's automatic keystone correction feature is one of the most advanced of its kind in the world. Capable of automatic horizontal correction of +/-20 degrees (a full 40 degree arc) and vertical correction of +/-40 degrees (a full 80 degree arc), the EMP-7900 has been designed for incredibly easy installation and fine-tuning. For even greater keystone correction functionality, the EMP-7900 has EPSON QuickCorner technology, allowing the user to literally drag and adjust the position of each corner of the projected image ensuring incredible precision. With the EMP-7900, EPSON's new Wall Shot Technology enters the quality-demanding projector market. This new EPSON technology provides the EMP-7900 with the ability to detect automatically the color of the projection screen, and then adjust the projected image colors to ensure optimum color projection. At the heart of the EMP-7900 is EPSON's world-leading 3LCD technology. This projection system uses three individual LCD panels to give form to images with silky smooth movement and fresher, more natural colors. Brighter, more vibrant colors and unequaled image quality is characteristic of 3LCD technology, with the EMP-7900 delivering outstanding results in any presentation environment - regardless of whether the lights are on or off! With the EMP-7900's support for various - and simultaneous - input sources, its Preview Function is an essential tool. By pressing just a single button on the projector's remote control, you can immediately see on the screen, all the connected input sources - DVI, Computer 1 and 2, BNC, S-Video and Composite Video. With its 4, 000 ANSI lumens rating, the EMP-7900 delivers brilliant presentation quality, even in the largest of conference rooms or concert halls. And because the EMP-7900 is designed with features to ensure a "best fit" for any situation, the brightness can be easily adjusted down to 3, 000 ANSI lumens to suit environments with low light levels. The advanced networking features of the EMP-7900 herald almost unprecedented levels of control and automation. Features such as automatic e-mail notification in case of system component failure, single PC control over multiple LAN-connected EMP-7900s and PC-to-projector connectivity via a LAN connection all represent highly advanced networkable control.

Full review

We used the Epsom in our office until a recent burglary. However, we have had a couple of projector and this was the only one that never required a bulb change. Which was impressive.

The quality of the product was good and has all the functionality required to serve as a small office/meeting projector. We used it several times a week either on customer site or in the office meeting room.

We do spend some time on the road and I did however find it to be a heavy piece of equipment. Another downside is the price. Although I rate it overall as a good product I would say that it is quite costly against some of the projectors available today.
