EPSON EPL6200-A tough competitor in laser printing

Advantages: Fast, excellent quality, relatively cheap to buy
Disadvantages: Bland design, high cost of consumables

I'm quite fond of Epson laser printers, for me they represent good quality and speed at phenomenally low prices. My first Epson laser printer was the EPL 5700L, but things have moved on since then. That was a bog standard, 8 pages per minute printer, but it didn't stop me being impressed, you can read my earlier review on this printer in my archive. But I knew my EPL 5700 wasn't going to last forever, and when I found out it needed its toner replacing which would cost £50, I thought I'd jump in and buy a new one (I was in a spending mood!) When Looking at printers I think theres a few things to bear in mind, so I present to you... **DALES SEVEN WONDERS FOR CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRINTER** 1) The company 2) The Cost 3) The Quality 4) The Speed 5) Toner life and cost of consumables 6) Design 7) Reliability and Usage So ...

Review of Epson EPL 6200

The EPL 6200N, A Monochrome MONSTER

Advantages: Highly industrial, capable of printing off at amazing speeds. Low noises. Is aesthetically pleasing.
Disadvantages: Slightly pricy. Few extra features.

If you've ever been a student, you'll know how difficult it is to tackle exam revision, coursework. and homework assignments. Not to mention the pressures each subject can take upon a person. You'd also realize the amount of emphasis in recent times on using computers and IT related utilities in order to accomplish the aformentioned tasks. My sixth form department recently purchased this, the Epson EPL 6200N, a laser printed designed for medium sized workgroups within any office or school. With the latest set of A - Level exams just a few months away, and with several sheets worth of information needing printing, I had the oppurtunity to test the EPL 6200N out... The Printer A quick query to the librarian told me the printer cost about 270 pounds inc. VAT, though unfortunately I cannot quote the place of purchase. Thats ...

Review of Epson EPL 6200N

Excelent Epson, again.

Advantages: Very Quick to print. Good DPI. GREAT value for money.
Disadvantages: Ugly. not practical for large buisness'

Epson EPL 6200L The Epson EPL 6200 is a ?High performance A4 mono professional printer? or so say Epson. Never being afraid to give new technology a go I jumped upon the opportunity to play with this rather large and bulky laser printer. My father is a dentist and he needed a hard wearing, cheap printer to print leaflets, booklets and all manner of other things you generally find information upon. For a hard wearing and a (long term) cheap printer I recommended to my dad a laser printer as there is no need to buy ink-cartridges and you can print thousands of one copy. So we make a trip to good ole? PC world where this was retailing for £110, checking out the specifics and not really being bothered what to buy we chose this because it looked as if it would do the job. Driving home, I looked at the box, rather big and white it gave ...
