It can scan originals up to full size A3/double A4 and differentiate between multiple items, so documents and photos can be captured at the same time. The latest EPSON Scan driver software includes Home, Office and Professional modes and EPSON Scan can even be used as a standalone scanning application, or TWAIN driver for use with applications such as Adobe Photoshop. USB 2.0 Hi-Speed and narrow SCSI are included as standard (IEEE 1394 optional) while the optional Network Image Express Card can be added to bring high speed scanning to multiple users, just like a laser printer.

The Epson GT-15000 can quickly accommodate virtually any scanning project. This high-value product even includes fast USB 2.0 and SCSI-2 connectivity, with an optional IEEE 1394 interface. In addition, an optional network card is available, enabling busy workgroups to share a single scanner. This, in addition to the scanners its high-speed operation and incredible versatility gives any user the power required.
So to sum things up: ... ...through print outs and can take ona variety of scanning projects. However its cost retail price of £761.40p, implies that it is a product much more suited to an office environment. I recommend this to you if you infact do own an office enviornment, if not, you should skip this item for something cheaper and more convinient. ...

I was a bit taken back by the shear size of the thing when it arrived, in its box and packaging it only just fits through the width of the average door frame! Having removed the scanner from its box we were left with a glorified piece of plastic, considerably smaller than the box it came in but of still fairly large proportions. The exact scanner dimensions are as follows:

...but not a problem with this particular model. Also have an epson printer that has not given the family any problems so cannot see this particular product giving us any either. Excellent bit of hardware that you will go a long way to better. Would recommend to any future buyer. ...
