...Have this at work so thought i'd review it as no one else has. Its a very professional machine scanning your A4 documents. Output is 27 pages per minute in black and white, with colour its 11 per minute.
With a resolution of 1200 by 1200 dpi it has outstanding quality which is assured by the 'Epson Automatic Document Enhancer technology'.
Very easy to use and to connect to your PC or Mac via the USB 2.0 port and can also be connected to your local intranet through the Image Express Card for greater versatility. I've done alot of scanning through this machine and the 48-bit colour has never let me down whilst providing optimal performance. I wouldn't recommend buying this for your home due to the expense however this would be perfect for a work environment in any office or other workplace where a professional scanner is needed. It...

Advantages: Build Quality Looks Like It Will Last Forever Disadvantages: No Longer Made
...I have had a GT 7000 for over 2 years and have found it to be far better than the model currently being offered by them. It came with a SCSI card which in my mind is by far a better way of connecting a scanner than either parallel or USB. SCSI is faster than parallel by far, and compared with USB it is always present as PC's seem to lose USB devices for no reason. The software included Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0, Presto PageManger both very good programs.

I have upgrade to the latest version of the TWAIN driver from the Epson website which also includes support for Windows 95,98,Me,NT 4.0,2000 as well as Mac 7.5.1 and later. Which is good to see as so many firms don't seem to provide drivers for Windows Me. I so pleased with this scanner I strongly suggest you try and pick one up secondhand as they are so well built...

...Price
I could not resist buying this printer when I saw that an Epson was on sale for £25.00 with two cartridges. Some cartridges cost £25 on their own.
Space saving
I am very satisfied with my little Epson. It sits happily in the space in my Argos computer desk and hasn't required any maintenance.
U.S.B. connection
I find it annoying that printers as a whole do not come with U.S.B. leads. I think it cost me about £10 for a U.S.B. lead, but it's not just Epson which doesn't supply leads.
Epson cartridges
Epson cartridges are expensive, and as I do quite a bit of printing, I have been buying compatibles from britink and nutronics. A message comes up saying I have used a compatible, but it runs quite happily.
Visual instructions on cartridge change
I'm sure beginners will appreciate the step by step instructions which...

I will launch straight in by informing you that this scanner is definitely not something you should purchase if you intend to use it casually around the home. The cost, and the features, imply that it is far more valuable to a small buisness rather than... more
This A3 flatbed scanner was purchased to compliment an older Epson GT12000 Scanner.
The initial setup was very straightforward, being both SCSI and USB, with the USB being the preferred method mainly for the convenience of being able to switch on the more
I bought this printer to replace my trusty C66, and it has not dissapointed.
It is a pretty cheap printer that churns out pages pretty quickly, and has the advantage of quite a lot of settings and preferences which can be chosed dependent on quality, more
The only reason I got this printer was the fact that it was on offer at Tescos and my other printer had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish.
