Advantages: Very stylish, excellent print speed, fantastic quality. Disadvantages: Software could be better.
...After long dispute with my father on purchasing a new printer we went to PC World and bought the amazing Epson R300, and what a good purchase it was!
<>
The printer at first catches your eye, it’s stylish and modern with sleek colours and nice shapes, the printer could fit in anywhere. The size is arguable but is excellent for what its specifications are.
<>
The R300 is a 6 cartridge printer which produces fantastic results at cheap cartridge costs. Images are printed perfectly with excellent detail and correctness, as the printer prints at a tiny 3 picoliters per dot and also prints at a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi. After a few prints the magenta output needed to be lowered a bit as the ink level was going down fast and pictures came out a bit red but after a swift change in the print...

Advantages: CD Printing, speed Disadvantages: None, no A3 printing
...The CD tray would not work at all when I bought this printer, but after explaining the problem to Epson customer services an epson engineer had to come round. He could not repair the problem and replaced it with a reconditioned R300 printer.
The cartridges are not yet refillable from places like cartridge world, should be in about 5 months time (waiting for licences to be granted from Epson). The cartridges I got were £12.50 Each, thats for five colour cartridges and one black one.
The CD printing is perfect and the accompanying software is excellent as you can paste from other applications such as Word, Photoshop etc.
i have only had the printer for the last 4 months it is very reliable and you can fit most memory cards into it for direct printing....

Ep son Review ofEpson Stylus Color 300by
angel1987
Advantages: if it's what you're looking for Disadvantages: bad quality, too slow
...Epson was the make of the printer given to me when I purchased my computer from Tiny. At first everything was great but it seems to only print about 1 page per minute. The quality of the pictures are good until you look closer and see the dots. If you want a great printer with good speed of pages a minute then don't get this unless you have no money to buy a better one. I want to upgrade to the epson 640. They do colour and black & white printers. Epson are a good company don't get me wrong it all really depends on what you want....
