I work in publishing and I need to scan photographs and documents for inclusion in magazines, newspapers and books that the company publishes.
I find that the Epson Perfection 1250 has the quality that is required for the job.The scanner is easy to use and provides high quality scans every time that I use it.
It works well not only as a scanner of photographs but also works well with several different types of OCR software that I have used in my working life. The thing that I like about the Epson Perfection 1250 is that it is easy to use. It really is just a matter of clicking on the desktop icon and following the onscreen instructions.
A question that many people might ask is: "would a flatbed scanner of this type really be suitable for the publishing industry?"The answer has to be "yes." The company I work for publishes five monthly magazines, a quarterly and also publishes a number of books and the Epson Perfection 1250 scans images for all of the magazines and (touch wood!) has never let me down yet.
It produces quality images every time I need them. It scans up to just about A4.Yes, there are bigger and better scanners in our production department, but for general use my Epson Perfection 1250 really does the job required with the minimum amount of fuss.
If you are looking out for a good quality colour scanner at a moderate price, do consider the Epson Perfection 1250.
