It is quite a large camera, but this also means that it is quite hard-wearing, and it survived remarkably unscathed when my 6 year old sister got hold of it! It takes four different quality ... ...of before downloading or erasing them. The lowest quality one, which is still pretty impressive, you can take more than eighty photos before having to download them. That said, you can buy a more powerful memory card to go in the camera, allowing you to take twice as many photos before downloading.

It takes four different quality photos, the highest quality one you can only take 4 of before downloading or erasing them. The lowest quality one, which is still pretty impressive, you can take more than eighty photos before having to download them. That said, you can buy a more powerful memory card to go in the camera, allowing you to take twice as many photos before downloading.
Photos can be taken through the moving picture viewer, or when that is turned off, through the viewfinder like a normal point and press camera. You can choose whether or not to use the flash, red eye reduction, timer and all the usual things you find on a good quality camera. The one thing I would definately recommend with this and any other digital camera, is to invest in a good quality program to process and adjust the photos on. You can remove any imperfections from the photo, choose which bit you want to print and even superimpose people or objects onto the photo! I have never been into photography, but it is so much more fun with this camera that I think I might just get into it!
This is a great camera, I bought it being a first time in digital camera's and thought it might take some time before I a) got the hang of it, and b) justified spending the money. No problem with either. Its easy to use and very versatile, and the cost is recouped with the fun you can have with it. Advantages: Stills and Video camera functions - can also be used as a webcam. Disadvantages: Basic point and shoot functionality.
This camera also doubles as a basic video camera! Using the video out lead, you can view and record moving images to video, or use as a webcam with your PC. The range is limited by the length of the lead though. As a first digital camera, or for a photographer with few expextations, this camera is ideal. The picture quality is good, and it is easy to use. The functionality is good and varied, and with an LCD screen to view shots before and after ...
