The picture quality is great as long as you are not expecting it to be of repro quality for fine print purposes, but for the home user it fits the bill. You get the option of taken normal shots, panoramic or macro with a simple flick of the switch. The flash can be set to automatic, manual or off and the LED screen on the camera gives you full run down of your settings. This little box of tricks is idiot proof and can used by anyone. The Epson PhotoPC 800 combines state-of-the-art digital technology with blistering speed and the ability to download images to both USB-equipped and serial-equipped computers. The result? A one of a kind camera so compact it slips into your pocket, purse or briefcase, yet so advanced you can easily shoot professional-quality images.
good value, good mode selection, good quality, well built, canon quality, good battery life, good resolution and quality, good manual controls, good LCD
clumpy, clunky design and controls, too big to be a true compact, interface pauses, zoom irritating, not worth the upgrade from G3 (*)
