Advantages: High Quality, Fast in mono & affordable

...We bought our Epson 900 from Action Computer Supplies June 2000 & specifically use it to produce high quality brochures. With exceptionally high quality this printer exceeded my expectations, especially as an IT manager I swear by Hewlett Packard?! not for much longer maybe. The only downside is that the Spray head is part of the printer & presumably has a life span where as HP is a new head with each cartridge. However, it does clean itself & continues to print at high res. If you are looking for a £240+ ish printer with Great qulaity then stop at the Epson 900.... Read review

Advantages: Cartridges can be bought cheap, printing is quiet and good value.
Disadvantages: Slow access time on the card reader.

...After my old epson died on me I decided to buy another epson. Why? Because I can get cheap cartridges for epsons more easliy, the quality of print is high and the price I pay is low. This one is no exception, and epson again beat excel themselves. Print quality is excellent, carde reader onboard, thumbnail preview on lcd screen, printing is fast, and its quiet enough for me to be able to watch my TV whilst its printing which I was never able to do before. All in all a 5 star printer at a bargain basement price. The only downfall I can see is the access time on the card reader however this is a small price to pay for quality affordable photos....
