Bought this printer a couple of days ago. Went into the local Curry's was going to buy a HP, but started talking to the shop assistant.

My requirements were simple -
-Had to have a screen so I could print direct from my camera. This printer has PICTBridge, which allows me to connect my camera to it, and use the screen on my camera to view the pictures and then choose to print from my camera. Save me having to take memory card ...
...could choose a cheaper machine as I did not need a screen on the printer.
-Seperate ink cartridges - this printer comes with four different ink cartridges.

After getting home, and unpacking, I threw away the foreign instructions. Two simple pages of set up with large pictures. Very easy, in less than 30 mins I had the printer up and running.

There is a really good facility, if you insert you memory card into the printer, and press the button to print a thumbnail sheet, the sheet comes out with the facility to mark on the sheet the size, quantity, and if you want a border of the photos on the thumbnail sheet, stick this sheet on the scanner, press the button, it scans the sheet, and then prints out the photos you requested from your memory card.

It is slow to start printing when you use the PICTBridge facility, but when it does start printing it is fast.

The printer is noisy when you first turn it on, lots of clunking - wakes the baby!

The quality of the prints are good, at any size. the software supplied is easy to use, and when you select draft it is really a draft print, quality is good but very faint.

The printer has a row of buttons down the one side, which allows you when scanning, to select colour or Black and white. Allows you to choose what size print you want, and how many copies you require.

All in all for under £50 a very good printer, that does all that I need and more.
