...at around £15 for genuine Epson cartridges which although cheaper alternatives are available from some retailers and mail order places they might not be worth the risk. If you have a genuine problem with the printer and have not been using genuine cartridges don’t bother to waste your time trying to claim under the warranty as it won’t be valid. The printer when purchased does come with one of each of the cartridges.
The way to connect to your PC ... ...connected Windows XP will automatically detect the new hardware and guide you through the set up process with the use of the installation CD Rom that comes with the printer. For those new to printers or PCs you cant go wrong it has two buttons one for the power and the other for paper feed and ink changing, it also only has two ports on the back one for the power cord and one for the USB.

Epson ink cartridges are around £15-20, a disgusting price for ink. Epson claims that their ink is superior but i've found compatible cartridges that are priced at only £4 are as good as the original. But everyone should know that using non-official ink cartridges will invalidate your years warranty, up to you if you think its worth the risk or not.

Epson C44 UX Printer
I would like to tell Ciao members of a fantastic printer I use and to recommend it to them as a very serious option for them. I must add that I am surprised there were no other reviews about this printer. The printer in mind is the Epson C44 UX This printer is cheap to buy and replacing the ink cartridges is cheap too. I first came across Epson with their C20 UX printer as it was bundled with the first computer system I ever ... ...a sample paper pack of Epson Papers and of course a pair of ink cartridges to start you off. The ink cartridges are of course Epson originals and they do quite well for a while before running out on you, but these can be replaced easily.
I will as usual give the techy bit at the end but for now I will deal with the main points you will want to know about.
