Firstly, let me just say - I would recommend this product to anyone interested in purchasing a new printer or copier! How Epson can make and sell this product for les than £90 is amazing! It is an excellent quality ink jet printer, great for printing photos on glossy paper!
For the price, it would be worth buying this as just a printer, OR just a copier, but to be both, AND a scanner is brilliant.
You no longer need to scan something before printing, you can just do a straight copy, and its so quick! Gone is the need to pop to your local copy shop! It scans perfectly, prints sharply, and copies brilliantly! The printer has a 2 line display menu on it so you can choose what kinda of paper you're using, the size, whether you want it lighter or darker, enlarged, it also give you the option of cleaning the heads, printing a nozzle check, tells you how much ink you have remaining, or if you'd rather, all of that can be found in the printer properties on your PC!
I believe this to be suitable for everyone, experienced, inexperiened, work or home use - you can't go wrong for the price and quality!

Personally, I've had some trouble installing, I tried installing onto Windows 98, and although it seemed to be working ok up to a point, it would then throw all manners of errors at me, and finally I had to re-install my entire computer to get it to work, however, I've since opted for a new computer, complete with XP and have had no problems, first time lucky! Although I was having problems, I recieved help both online from a technical adviser on the Epson site, and also by telephone, who even called me back to make sure it was going ok! I also found that the ink cartiridges that were supplied were almost empty after the head cleaning, which took a few attempts!! After replacing the cartridges, the ink lasts well.
All this for less than £90 - I still feel like there should be a catch!

I hate the maintainance associated with running a printer, best avoided IMO:) -Jon

At the moment I have to scan something, then print it out manuaully - it gets a bit tedious if you have more than just a few pages to copy! Something like this sounds ideal, and the price is great too. Matt
