Well were can I start with this printer. Its an all round great product, it has many different functions and features which will help any user along the way to making you pictures or images better and processing your paperwork quicker. Whilst using this printer I found that it was very easy to use from the very simple buttons that are on the top of the printer towards the left. All of the buttons are very easy to use and you really couldn't go wrong with it.
The Epson DX4000 offers a complete printing and copying solution for all of the family. Its ideal for nearly everything. ...I bought this all in one printer a few months ago for £80. I got this particular printer because I had used Epson before and had no problems with them. I also liked the look of the printer because of its glossy black finish on the scanner lid. I checked the price of ink for a few printers I was looking at and found the ink for this printer to be cheaper than others. It takes 4 ink cartridges.
The software that came with the printer was easy to install.
I have used the printer for printing text and photographs onto A4 and 6x4 photo paper. The print quality is excellent. The menu on the printer is very easy to use. You select what size paper you are using and print. It can print up to 34 page per minute and the paper tray can hold 120 sheets.
It can also be used for photocopying. You select whether you want a colour or black...

Advantages: it looks alright, and the buttons are reasonably straightforward Disadvantages: uneconomical ink cartridges, poor or liney prints too common
...tasks such as removing clogged paper or changing a cartridge are as simple as you would hope and expect.
The printer is not able to turn itself on when it receives a print command. It must be turned on manually, else it thinks there is some kind of error. Not a huge problem, but a little inconvenient at times.
There is a large range for scanning quality, which goes from 50 up to 9600dpi. I have the usual colour options. It has a few other features which may or may not be useful, but I have never bothered to work out or use. The scanned images seem pretty good. As with many other scanners it may alter a few tones, especially orange. But it’s nothing too serious.
Personally I have vowed never to buy an Espon again. I even sent Epson some constructive feedback on why I disliked this product so much. I miss my old HP printer. It was many...
