Advantages: Competent scanning and printing for a bargain price
Disadvantages: Not the best photo quality you could hope to achieve

Epson do not declare that they have made it almost impossible for you to use non Epson (cheaper) cartridges. This monopoly approach will lose them many supporters and I would recommend that if you are thinking of buying an epson..DON'T
