Having read the review of LindaJane1971 I am entirely in agreement with her findings, namely my views also.
Being a regular user of Epson over the years I sought their advice for a printer equal to and better than my existing, they offered me this, in my opinion it has not been, I have experienced problems with it from the beginning and Epsom staff are of not much help.
Having installed the printer all that I have been getting is problems. Print speed is nowhere near what they stat, I think it is 27 ppm. I get. Draft mode. .10/15 ppm Other modes anything from 2 to 4 ppm.
I thought I had been given trial cartridges, according to Epson I was not, however hardly any printing was carried out before the Black ran out. When the Clack was replaced I still had some 25% left in the other 3,, thee machine locked and I could not clean the prinyt head nozzles. I replaced one further colour and the machne was still locked. On contacting Epson I was advised that ALL cartridges had to be changed befor it would unlock, unlike my other printer where I could change the Black and have a bare 5/10% in the colour cartridge where the heads could always be cleaned. It would appear as others have stated that Epson are more interested in selling the ink.
In my opinion this machine in NO way whatsoever is equal to or better than my CX3200 which I have had to revert to.
This DX600O prints purely A4, size paper. there is no small extra over this to print A4 envelopes. Epson state that to print A4 envelopes one must change to LANDSCAPE mode. This is not acceptable to me, on the CX3200 one can print to A4 and as stated in the manual US LETTER. This particular machine will also accept A3 envelopes with no trouble and will even go up to 9.5". The a4 envelopes can also be printed in PORTRAIT mode.
This machine has been very costly to me, the DX6000 and the support by Epson needs a lot to be desired, in fact there has been none.
Based on my experience I would not reccomend this machine to others.

It seems pretty costly, having to replace all cartridges at the same time. I'll give this one a miss...Decent review

Nice Review! I'm glad i'm happy with my printer! Read review! :-)
Advantages: The printer is easy to use, looks attractive, produces fine quality print and is easy to load Disadvantages: The printer cartridges tend to run out pretty quickly so use draft as often as possible.
