    Advantages Advantages Vibrant realistic colours

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Noisy

I take a lot of photographs and the odd one I even find to be worthy of blowing up,(not literally) and framing and since buying a digital camera recently the need grew, and my old Cannon printer just wasn’t up to the task of photo quality prints so I had to do something to rectify the situation. I scoured reviews in Ciao, magazines and on the Internet but was finally convinced after seeing two prints, one an original from a photographic lab and the other a scanned copy printed via the Epson Stylus Photo 810 onto Epsom premium glossy photo paper. The results were indistinguishable it was the ... more

Advantages Advantages Quality prints. Cheap to buy.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit slow. Cartridges expensive.

Fed up with the girl at Boots laughing at your exposures? Print your own on this..... This is a very nice printer for the money. Colour printing of digital photos is superb with great colours and contrast. You can be up and running with this within a few minutes of taking it out of the box (unless you haven't got a PC!). Use the install CD to install the software, attach the printer to the PC (you may need a cable if you haven't already got one) and Bob's your Auntie. You can print upto A4 size on this printer and you can go all the way to the edge of the page if needs be. If you want to print ... more

Advantages Advantages Photo quality without a doubt

Disadvantages Disadvantages None at this price

I looked long and hard before choosing this printer, and thoroughly researched those best buys which didn't require me to spend a small fortune. My efforts were rewarded. What do you need to know ? How good are the prints ? - Fantastic ! On good quality photo paper it will produce a superb photo print, even printing edge to edge on certain paper sizes. I was gobsmacked at the quality, the print looked better than on the screen. Is it is easy to setup ? - No problems Epson obviously have the knack of giving troublefree installation. Is it good at everyday printing ? - Not particularly fast at ... more

Advantages Advantages easy to use, very good print quality

    Disadvantages Disadvantages cartridges are expensive

It didn’t take me long to choose this printer, I had another Epson before had which was great. The stylus photo 810 has a fantastic printing quality. This Epson cost me £85 but I got it from a discount shop, but I think it retails for about £99, but don’t quote me on that price. Its main down fall is that the ink cartridges are very expensive, they are about £20 each for the colour and black. But they do last quite a long time, they can not be refilled either, the refill packages don’t have all the correct colours. The cartridges are also very hard to get hold of. They are available in high ... more

I bought this printer about 3-4 years ago and have never had a problem with it.It has a fantastic photo quality, especially on glossy paper. And the ink is very cheap in comparason with other printers. The machine is quite big and noisy to some extent but it does its job perfectly. The installation is very easy to set up allthough it doesnt come with much software. The ink is very cheap you can get compatable catrages in most computer shops for around £4 for the colour and £3 for the black. The printer doesnt look great and it's quite large but it does its job to a high standard when printing out ... more
