The Epson R300 is a good low cost Photo Printer. It has lots of useful features, for instance you can print direct from a camera, or pop a memory card into the reader on the front. If you're connected to a PC then it can use the memory card reader as well. It is also possible to attach a Bluetooth module and print direct from a camera phone, but I've not tried this. You can buy a colour LCD for it so that you can preview pictures before you print them in stand alone mode. The print quality is superb, and it can knock 6x4 prints out in a minute or so. It also has the capability of printing direct onto white coated CD/DVDs if you want to make your Disks look smart! I get my ink from eBay, and this does not seem to massively affect the quality of printouts but is much cheaper. The set up is very straightforward. The printer has a little LCD screen that gives out status messages and other information, so it is worth remembering this before you stick it under a shelf or desk and hide it. All in all I would recommend this printer to anyone wanting to print out digital photos at home. It also produces good quality prints for documents.
