Truly amazing Photo Printer 6 of 6 Ciao Users found the following review helpful
Rating from Dave1508 5 Stars ()

Advantages Outstanding Picture quality, 8 seperate ink tanks, CD Print

Disadvantages Expensive, slightly larger than the standard desktop printer

Obviously as a range topping printer, you'd expect the print quality to be that little bit special - and this printer doesn't dissapoint. With 8 seperate ink tanks, including a dedicated Gloss optimizer for high standard prints, the results are truly inspiring, with an updated Epson design, which still shows the family traits from previous models (Have an Epson Photo 900 as well)
With the latest Epson Photoquicker software, print options can be accessed with ease, giving a full range of options to optimize Digital stills, remove red eye, and auto balance light (Just don't expect Adobe Photoshop type utilities). All current sizes of photo paper are installed in easy to use templates, which means a much reduced time from photo selection to print.
The CD print utility and software are equally easy to use. With the right type of printable disc, photo quality can be acheived on disc!
As can be expected, as a fully functioned Photo printer, it is larger than a standard desktop printer, but given the features, it's worth finding that little extra room.
Set up is easy with an autoplay disc and all instructions, with a USB lead and the Power supply provided.
So far, unlike most printers, which are provided with half full ink tanks, these have lasted 30 or so discs and 20 full quality prints, along with numerous text pages, and they still only register half empty. So seems to be a bit more frugal with the ink, whilst still giving top Prints.
Overall an amazing machine, with prints comparable to Film cameras. It is expensive and there are other printers which will give top quality prints, but for that extra mile and near perfection, this is a 5 star printer.
