I have had this printer for over a year now and am very pleased with it. I have read another CIAO review on this printer and do not agree with its comments about ink. For a start the cartridges are not £18 - Amazon have them at £11.01 and I have seen them for £9 elsewhere. I find they last a reasonable length of time and having eight means that you only have to replace the one that has run out, not pay for one of those expensive cartridges which contains a range of colours. In over a year I have only had to use the head cleaning utility once. Yes it does consume some of your ink, but this is one of the best performances I have seen in using many printers either at home or work. Admitedly I don't print a lot of photos on it but it does get used a fair bit for my daughter's art work which has lots of colour on it.
Its a very quiet printer, although it does shake the table I have it on a lot - make sure you have something solid to put it on. The speed is OK for me but not what you would call fast. Epson rate it at 17pages per minute B &W, 8 ppm colour, I haven't timed it but that is probably about right.
What more can I say - it has been totally reliable, every print has been a high quality, it doesn't dry out when not in use, and has given me no problems - I have never been able to say that about any other printer I have had.
