This is a top of the range inkjet printer.
The EPSONStylusPro 5000 is probably the best producer of top quality printer I have come across to date - and I use a lot of printers for work and personal use.

This machine is a true digital workhorse printer.
It has been designed to work for hours producing professional images.
It is for printing photographs, fine art and graphic images and I love it.
Classed as a wide format printer it produces images up to 44 inches / 111.8 cm wide. The length of the images can be many times longer as you are given the option to set your own dimensions in the software.
It prints single sheets of paper and paper on large rolls.
The images are high quality and acceptable to sell commercially.
The inks and paper are archival and will last years. I've not experienced any bronzing ( prints going brown ), even with prints left in sunlight over months.
Epson have a wide range of papers ranging from photo papers to matt fine art papers. Also available are canvas and unusual commercial papers ...

The new Epson Stylus Pro 7900 large-format printers feature a brand new 10 colour, UltraChrome HDR (High Dynamic Range) pigment ink system. The Epson 7900 (24 inch) printers incorporate orange and green ink cartrdiges to considerably expand the colour gamut. Matte black is also included on-board and can be auto-switched with photo black. Also on offer is an optional integrated spectrophotometer with mounting device using the latest X-rite technology, putting the Epson 7900 in direct competition with HP's Z-series printers.
