Surprisingly the colour (T041) is more expensive than black (T040). I used the photocopying facility a little too much and now my black ink cartridge is dry. Something to watch for.
The colour cartridge/inkjet uses a combination of ... ...for photo colour from a digital camera or scanner.
***USE***
The CX3200 comes with an instruction manual and advice on how to use the cartridges. It advises against opening the package before use (they come in a plastic sealed unit). The ink is toxic.
The cartridge have an IC chip on the back do not touch this. The chip calculates how much ink is left in the cartridge.

The colour cartridge/inkjet uses a combination of 3 colours, yellow, cyan, magenta QuickDry ink and is ideal for photo colour from a digital camera or scanner.

Leave the cartridge in the machine until it is replaced otherwise the ink may dry out.
***MY OPINION***
The CX3200 I bought replaces a Stylus C40. The print quality is definitely a cut above the C40. The cartridges are considerably more expensive, I've yet to try a compatible ink cartridge because this may affect the quality of the warranty. I get around the problem by using the C40 for standard printing jobs. For presentations that need quality I use the CX3200.
