Having said that, I recognize the quality of Epson and like to use one of their own brands every so often.

But they do not last as long as Jettec - which have an extra 30% as well, and are just too expensive for what they are.

Having said that, I recognize the quality of Epson and like to use one of their own brands every so often.
They are readily available, easy to insert, prevent irritating messages - like "the cartridge you are using is not a genuine Epson T0453 - do you wish to continue using it ?", and always work well.

But they do not last as long as Jettec - which have an extra 30% as well, and are just too expensive for what they are. They have a chip on the front which makes refilling a bit difficult, and they have a vacuum system inside which makes refilling very hit and miss.
How I wish printer manufacturers would make us pay a decent price for the printers themselves, and then provide good quality cartridges which could be refilled with proper Epson ink at a reasonable cost.!
My last comment is that the Epson cartridges, by not being easily re-usuable, are contributing to a lot of needless waste.
So the product is good - the price is high and the waste, well its a waste.!
