Epson has earned a strong reputation for first-class printers, which offer an outstanding combination of quality, reliability and value for money. However, unless these products are complemented by Epson consumables to match, users cannot expect to fully capitalize on their investment. Epson understands that printing is a process, with printer, inks and paper working together to offer the ultimate in quality output. With this in mind, each Epson consumable features innovative design, meticulous development, precision manufacture and rigorous quality control, ensuring that Epson hardware continues to offer optimum performance throughout a long, trouble-free, working life.
Advantages: The most precise prefect pictures, intuitive, efficient, minimal waste with appropriate calibration Disadvantages: medium printing knowledge is a must, understanding calibration a must
...Digital printing techniques have come along way, the Epson range of Stylus Pro has launched digital printing into the future at the speed of light, with perfect whites and pigment rainbows.
Once you have calibrated your monitor so that its speaking the same language as the printer, you are guaranteed perfect reproductions everytime - and guess what, they are archival as well. Undoubtedly superior technology has the cutting edge advantage, with the UltraChromeink and the print heads.
You will need paper profiles - whether written or borrowed. A paper profile syncs with your Photoshop (or printing program) and allows correct soft proofing and data calibration for the media chosen.
Ink useage is quite reasonable, although one hopes for a free miscellaneous pallet full. Recommend buying the ink cartridges for the 9600 (they do fit...

Advantages: A3, brilliant quality, versatile, speedy Disadvantages: high maintenance
...produce banners and there's also a CD holder, so you can print on CDs designed for ink-jet ink. This really covered every size of medium I could think of.
The printer is a six-colour printer, which utilizes Epson's new UltraChrome Hi-Gloss pigmented inks, which boast superior quality and no fading, whether that is true I don't know. Not only this but the machine comes with 2 extra inktanks, which are filled with matte and gloss black, excellent for producing uality results on both glossy photo paper and some of the special papers, such as, film and watercolor paper (although I have yet to try the latter out).
The hardware controls include a column of four buttons which operate the usual functions such as paper loading and cartridge maintenance, and at the back the is the standard USB 2 socket for connectivity and quite unusually...

Advantages: A3+ glossy photos that'll last a lifetime... nearly. Disadvantages: None that I've seen so far.
...look is to do with the two inktanks filled with matte and gloss black which compliment the other six colours to produce amazing results on various paper sources including gloss, matte, film, parchment and watercolour mediums.
Size does matter...
Most printers are designed for reproducing digital photo's at A4 but the R1800 will print bigger than A3. Great for larger photo's and posters. Borderless prints measuring approx. 19 x 13 inches are achievable.
Looks are everything...
One first appearance, there doesn't seem much to the R1800. It looks like any other Epson printer, just a bit bigger, but that's the beauty. It's understated looks hide the monster within.
It's all in the media...
The R1800 has a massive telescopic paper support at the back and a large output tray emerging from the front. Paper guides are fully adjustable...

My friend had this phone and was not impressed.
I think the camera isn't too bad, works well as a phone and it's quite a stylist phone but my good comments will have to stop there if you're looking for more than a phone with just a camera.

The YP-K3 is one the most recent ontakes of the Ultra-Slim range of MP3 players. It had a heatpad touchscreen which pops out of nowhere when you turn it on, a very large (For me) 2GB memory (Which is slightly less with every MP3 Player). It is extremely... more
