...I've previously worked for carole nash in the new business department, and all i can say is that it's only going to get better in 2008 for all you bikers. Now under new ownership and new management they are really having a massive drive to provide bigger and better policies at the lowest possible prices, there was talk of re-negotiation with underwriters to offer better rates. Also now under the umbrella of Groupama (massive massive company) they are in a better position to offer even better policies for people with modified, imported and custom built bikes and of course they would have a lot of negotiating power to get a better deal for you guys and gals.
The new MD, David Newman, in my personal opinion is an absolute asset to the company and will truely put Carole Nash on top...watch this space bikers!!!...

...After driving my Cherokee 4.0Ltd for three years, the rising cost of petrol got the better of me and I traded in for a 2.5 TD Orvis. I went for the Orvis because of the leather.
I used to love the auto and I must admit to it spending the first two weeks kicking myself for "going diseasel" and having a manual change.
I'm now 4 months and 4,000 miles into ownership and my self kicking has turned into self acclaim as I look at the on board computer nad see 29.5 mpg.
The car is a few centimeters taller than the 4.0l Ltd and it feels it but only from the view and not the roadholding.
Its another great car which I can highly recommend...

...Mechanicaly sound cos its Izuzu, but that means turbo air intake failure £165 . Electrics made in Taiwan, no seriously worse than that made by vauxhall. My dad has a S reg LWB2.2 Dti ltd manual I have a S reg LWB 2.2 Dti Ltd auto both diesels have done nearly 100K my dad having his from new (poor bloke) On the farm they are ace of road with the ability to not tilt over like other 4x4s and fall over and i have also never heard of any troubles with them jumping out of 2x drive into 4x drive like other 4x4 on the road (you owners know who you are but havnt got the guts to admit it after reading this). If you buy a second hand one buy private cos the warranties given DONT SEEM TO COVER THE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS so pay cheap privatley then expect to pay more to eradicate the electrical problems like seat belt retensioners gas bottle connections...
