Slowly
Softly
Snuggling
Cuddling
Exploring temptation
Awakening with touch

Soft
skin
melting

Warm
bodies
entwining

Time
doesn’t
matter

Love
Lust
flowing

irresistible feelings
spurring onwards
frantic touching
pulling closer
hearts beat faster
urging pleasure
sliding bodies
needing more

hardness
wetness
throbbing
rhythmic
unstoppable
intensity
a freezing of time
drunk on passion
edging to ecstasy
a blur of ripples
a breathless exchange

Slowly
Softly
Snuggling
Cuddling
Resisting temptation
If only to sleep

A brush of hand, of skin on skin
The closeness, promise, veiled so thin
The room blurs around us, we are but two
Our senses heightened, our passion grew

It took so long, to get so near
My heart raced fast with love and fear
To feel you close had been a dream
And now for us, reality seemed
To fade and blur ‘til there was none
Just in our arms, our lives went on.

We touched so long, I needed to
Feel all your body, find all of you
To hold you tight and love you well
To live you, breathe you, feel you swell

Against my legs, my back, my knees
As I responded to your pleas
I wanted you, to feel you there
To urge your hardness ‘til we share
A feeling that made us two one
Just in our arms, our lives went on.

Our bodies moved together then
I lost track of all time and when
The morning sun disturbed our night
I felt aggrieved, no strength to fight

But swept away, the tide returned
Our mutual passion was reburned
You made me rise, a natural high
I floated up from bed to sky
I looked down then and saw we shone
Lost in our arms, our lives went on.

We moved together, as if possessed
Our height of joy, we never guessed
Would be so great, and yet the fall
Is the undoing of us all.

I miss your arms, your mouth, your touch
Consumed by love, I feel so much
That I am lost, have lost, have cried
I can’t give up, I know I’ve tried
To file you away, but dreams aren’t gone
Still lost in your arms, my life goes on.
